Nichola has 28 years’ experience in the beauty and beauty education industries. Since initially qualifying in 1996 with the internationally renowned ITEC, CIBTAC and CIDESCO Diplomas, she has continued to professionally develop over the years along with new trends, techniques and has an extensive knowledge in a wide variety of areas.

As well as working in, managing and then owning her own salon in the past, she was a teacher from the age of 23 and later, the Curriculum Manager of a large Beauty Therapy division in a Further Education college for many years. From there she moved into the International Exam Boards, firstly as Education Manager for CIBTAC, then as an International Examiner and Subject Matter Expert for ITEC. In 2015 she started as an official visitor for the Professional Beauty Awards and continues to work as an official judge for other industry Awards.  In 2017 she returned to CIBTAC to head up their Business Development department and carry out National & International examining. 

Nichola’s passion for the industry grows with her experience and she is an advocate for comprehensive training and continual professional development to ensure excellent standards are maintained within the industry.
