MOLE & LESION SCREENING SERVICE

Here at Nilosa I am pleased to be able to offer a Mole and Lesion screening service, designed to help you monitor changes in your skin and identify suspicious moles or unwanted lesions.  It’s ideal for anyone who wants reassurance about a new or changing mole, or for those with multiple moles who want regular monitoring. This service helps detect early signs of skin cancer, including melanoma, by analysing changes in size, shape, colour, and pattern.  It can also determine the identity of other benign skin lesions that may be suitable for removal.

Map My Mole is a digital mole‑mapping and assessment service.  Using a dermatoscope, I am able to take high‑quality clinical imaging that is reviewed and assessed by Dermatologists who revert with a report within 48 hours.  This service offers a fast, reliable way to keep track of your skin health without needing a GP referral.

Once you receive your report, we will know if your lesion is safe to treat and can organise the required session/s to do so, using either Cryosurgery or Advanced Electrolysis.

Mole & Lesion Screening Appointment

We will complete a consultation form to analyse your medical history and take clinical photographs of the lesion/s in question.  The photograph/s will then be uploaded to the Map My Mole service and reviewed by a Consultant Dermatologist.  A report will be generated and sent to you within 48 hours.  We will discuss treatment options during the screening so that once you have received your results, we can organise the appropriate session should you wish to go ahead with removal, if it is identified as a lesion we can safely treat.

To include 1 Lesion photograph

£80

additional lesion photographs in same screening appointment - £20 each

BLEMISH REMOVAL TREATMENTS

An initial consultation is required for all blemish removal treatments to identify and determine suitable options for your benign skin lesion/s.

We will complete a consultation form to analyse your medical history and discuss the suitability of either Cryosurgery or Advanced Electrolysis for safe and effective treatment. I will then fully explain the treatment process for the chosen method.

If your lesion/s are not instantly identifiable as standard benign lesions suitable for treatment, I will advise the option of the Map My Mole service to ensure the correct insurance cover for treatment.

BLEMISH REMOVAL TREATMENTS

USING CRYOSURGERY

The CryoPen M is a next‑generation cryotherapy instrument engineered for safe, targeted removal of common benign skin lesions. Using a high‑pressure micro‑stream of nitrous oxide (N₂O), it delivers rapid freezing with exceptional precision, allowing the treatment of lesions without damaging surrounding healthy tissue.

Key Features of the CryoPen M

  • Precision freezing — The micro‑jet technology allows pinpoint accuracy, ideal for small or delicate areas.

  • Consistent temperature delivery — Maintains a stable freezing temperature for predictable results.

  • Non‑invasive treatment — No incisions, minimal discomfort, and quick recovery.

  • No downtime — Most clients resume normal activities immediately.

What the CryoPen M Can Treat

CryoPen M is intended for benign lesions only such as:

  • Skin tags

  • Milia

  • Warts and verrucae

  • Various lentigines (sun/age/liver spots)

  • Hyper-Pigmentation

  • Flat pigment (ephelides/freckles)

  • Cherry angiomas (blood spots)

  • Rosacea

  • Seborrheic Keratoses

How the CryoPen M Works

The device releases a controlled burst of nitrous oxide at high pressure, rapidly freezing the lesion to approximately –89°C. This extreme cold causes cellular crystallisation, destroying the targeted tissue while keeping surrounding skin intact. Treatment typically lasts 5–30 seconds, depending on lesion size and depth.  With no open sprays comes a reduced risk of cross‑contamination.  Disposable applicators maintain clinical hygiene standards.  Predictable penetration depth minimises the risk of scarring.
